A woman I don't even know has captured my heart tonight

So, in addition to being an occasional blogger, I admit to being a bit of a blog-reading addict. One of the blogs I regularly read is written by CK's 2007 Scrapper of the Year, Elizabeth Kartchner. Well, recently she had a post up asking for prayers for a beautiful wife and mother of four small children. Her name is Stephanie Nielson and she and her husband were horribly burned in a plane crash last week.

From Liz's blog, I linked first to Stephanie's blog and read some of her posts, just prior to her accident. I got a feel for what an amazing, dedicated wife and mother she is, and perhaps more importantly, for what amazing stewards of the Lord she and her family are. But, of course, being the blog addict I am, I couldn't stop there. I next linked to Stephanie's sister's blog and got to read some more in-depth updates on the couple's conditions.

I can't stress enough how moved I am.... to the very core of my being, my heart aches for this family and for the trial they must now endure. I am amazed at their faith, their love, and their ability to cope in the face of this tragedy. I am INSPIRED by their Christian example. They are truly awe-inspiring... there aren't words to adequately express how much this family has touched me tonight.

So, I feel compelled to help... in whatever way I can. I don't have many blog readers, but I want to appeal to those of you who are out there to please visit Stephanie's blog - get to know her, her husband and her children. She's got it all there for you to see. Then, go visit her sister's blog... read up on the couple's condition, get a feel for what an amazing Christian family they all are. And then, if you feel compelled, send a card.... or use the donate button on the left.... but most importantly, please say a prayer that the Lord's Will be done and that he watch over Stephanie, Christian, their children and the whole Clark and Nielson families in their time of need. Thanks for reading my post tonight and for doing what your heart leads you to do.... and hug your family a little tighter tonight, ok? Tracy

I have a few things for you today :) First up, some news! Nicole from Sugarplum Paperie has released the next set of papers and elements in her "Twist" line. Today's release is Lemon Twist and its on sale until tomorrow at the Digi Chick - 40% off - WOW! Here's a preview of the kit and a layout I made using it... click the preview to visit Nicole's shop at TDC and click on my layout to visit my gallery at DST for the full page credits :)

Next order of business.... and its a DOOZY! I've been hanging onto this news for a while, but the time has come to let the cat out of the bag. I am positively THRILLED to announce that Ellie Lash has formed her own Creative Team and I have the distinct honor and pleasure to be serving as her HEAD CT! I was positively over the moon to be considered and asked to take on this role for Ellie and I'm already thrilled with the progress we are making for her. The Creative Team and I will have our own blog (debuting TOMORROW!!) and on that blog we'll be hosting challenges, sharing inspiring layouts, giving away some of Ellie's gorgeous products.... you name it! And, to kick off our first month on the new blog, we'll be having a daily freebie download - its surely something you won't want to miss - so make sure to hop on back here tomorrow so I can point you in the direction of the new "Ellie's Angels" blog!

OK, finally for some fun... those of you who know me personally know that I'm a bit of a font junkie. I love them! And I have thousands and thousands of them and most times, choosing the fonts for my layouts is the step that takes me the most time (too much time, to be honest!). So, I was catching up on some feed reading today and I came across this gem of a blooper on Cathy Zielske's blog. I swear, I nearly wet my pants laughing. I. AM. NOT. KIDDING. So, I just can't resist sharing this... its too funny not to! Scroll down and turn off the tunes before you hit play!

See you tomorrow with links and fun stuff from Ellie's Angels! Tracy
