Challenge Thursday

Hi all! Carolyn here to bring you this week's challenge. I am a big fan of those wonderfully layered layouts with plenty of element clusters. But I was thinking lately how I miss seeing all those beautiful papers our designers create for us. They are hidden under all our clusters! So this week's challenge is to show us some blocking. Cut those papers into pieces and show us what you have. Let the papers shine! Now you don't have to ignore the elements altogether, just let the fantastic papers be the focus of your layout. Some ideas:

1) Cut your papers into MANY small pieces and paste them all around your photo.
2) Cut your papers into a FEW big blocks.
3) Remember to use your grid tool if your scrapbooking program comes with one to help you out.
4) You can use one large photo as your focus or many smaller ones in between all your blocks.
