And now, I've got something fun for everyone... in honor of my spotlight this month, I decided it was about time we had a big 'ole layout contest here at TrixieScraps.com! So today marks the official kick-off of the contest! It will be a 4-week cumulative challenge and the prize is a 2-month guest spot on my Creative Team. If you've tried to make it on the team before, or if you've thought about it, I hope you will play along this month!

Now, here's how it will work. Each week, we will issue you a layout challenge (see the first week's challenge on the image below). Your task is to take on that challenge, scrap a layout using Trixie Scraps products, and share it in our gallery in the CT Contest album. Each Saturday for the next four weeks, the team and I will pick several quarter-finalist favorite layouts and we'll post them here on the blog for the public to vote on. EACH vote you receive will count... so feel free to shout about it on your own blog, on Facebook, via Twitter... you name it! Ask your friends and family to vote for you! We will tally all the votes each week, add them all up together and the artist with the most votes at the end of our four contest rounds will be the lucky winner of the spot on my team.

We are very excited to bring someone new to our little family - our team is extremely close-knit, lots of fun, and sometimes just a little bit crazy... but in the best way possible! I will not be having any more calls this year, so if you want to be on the team, this contest is your way IN! So, without further ado.... here is this week's challenge.
