Make It Hybrid Monday- Paper Snowflakes/ Star

Hi everyone and welcome to another Make It Hybrid Monday! With December upon us, it's a time filled with the holidays and winter weather. To bring the winter season inside with the cold and to decorate for the holidays, I'm going to show you how to make a 3D paper snowflake/ star using only one sheet of paper inspired by a paper project in a scrapbooking magazine. To create this project, I used one of the most recent releases- 31 Days Has December

Here are the supplies that you will need:
- 1 sheet of double sided patterned paper/ cardstock
- Paper cutter
- Adhesives- tape and glue
- glitter (optional)

Step 1: Cut your patterned paper/ cardstock into 8 inch x .5 inch strips vertically. You will need at least 9 strips

Step 2: Fold each strip in half and half again to create a diamond shape. Adhere at the bottom using tape. Create 6 of these diamonds

Step 3: Cut the remaining 3 strips in half. Fold each strip in half and half again to create a diamond shape. Adhere at the bottom of each large diamond using glue.

Step 4: Lay out all of the diamonds into a circle and glue together on the sides

Step 5: Add glitter to the sides of the assembled snowflake and display

Hope that you enjoyed this Make It Hybrid Monday post and if you create any project using Trixie Scraps, please don't forget to link us up so that we can leave you some love. Happy crafting!
