Template Challenge with a twist (and a freebie)!

Good morning Trixie Scraps fans!

Stacey here bringing the next installment of Challenge Thursday! Laina's TTT post last week showing us how to change a template into a white space template got me thinking about other ways we can change/alter a template to get the most use out of it. I am a template junkie and find myself making changes to them all the time to suit my needs for the particular memory I'm scrapping.

Here is a page I made using one of Trixie's templates from the November 2011 Templatetopia and One Crazy Kid! I loved the design, but it had way too many pictures for what I needed, so I simply deleted the extra picture layers!

So, my challenge for you today is to go grab your favorite Trixie Scraps goodies and create a new page using a template that you have altered. You can add/delete photo layers, flip/rotate it, make it a white space or make a white space template larger!

I whipped up a freebie to get you started, but feel free to use any template you'd like! Click HERE for the updated link with PAGE file!

and my page using the template and the amazing kit, Blue Christmas, that Trixie is generously giving away as a daily download this month!

Make sure you don't forget to add your layout to Trixie Scraps gallery and be sure to comment with a link to your page!

  1. A fast one, because I love templates too! Made with AAM: the Tweens collection and the freebie template that came with that. Thanks for this challenge!
