Saturday with the Stars

Ok, due to some unforeseen circumstances, I am posting late, but still have something to share with everyone regarding our Trixie Scraps' Stars.  I thought I could review some of Trixie's older kits with you.  Sometimes, at least for me, reviewing older kits spurs me on to scrap with them again if I already own them OR reintroduces me to something I forgot about in the store that I would want in my stash.  So, to start:

A Thankful Heart

I love how Scrap Star Stacey layered Trixie's fabulous plaid paper and embossed paper.  In addition, her unevenly cut mat, black and white photo, and clustering are something that really brings the whole layout together!

Adoption Day

Now, Scrap Star Beth's layout I fell in love with right away and is a good example of how to use a "themed" kit in a "non-themed" way.

Finally, have a look at Partini in Paradise

Scrap Star Bree has really brought this one back to my attention, especially given the time of year most of us are now going into... Summer!  Her layout reminds me so much of all the warm weather we are starting to see and how much I can't wait to go back to the beach.
