Masters Monday - {Make Your Own Calendar}

Hello there Trixie Scraps fans, and welcome to another edition of Masters Mondays.  One of my favorite things at the beginning of a new year is getting a brand new, calendar.

There is a store in the mall near me that just sells calendars around the holiday season, and right after New Years they all go on clearance.  Usually I pick one up at about 50% off.  This year though, I thought why not make one for myself?  So I created a template and have been using it each month to create a calendar page for myself.  I created this month's calendar using Rise to It, take a look:

It's so simple.  I just choose the kit I want to use for the month and fill in the dates appropriately.  If someone has a birthday during the month I'll put a picture of the person on their birthday as a little reminder.  Holidays and events can also be marked with fun elements to make them stand out.  Since my template is pretty basic, it can be put to use in a variety of different ways.  Anybody out there trying to take a photo a day this year?  This template is great for capturing all of your daily photos from one month on one page, especially if you're using Instagram.  Since I get so much use out of it, I'd thought I'd share this template with all of you.  Just click on the preview below to download.

I hope you have fun making this template your own.  Fell free to share your fun, creative calendars with us in the gallery so that you can be a Show Off and win a great prize.
